Rapid Post Tenancy Turnarounds for Estate Agents

This was a great little project where everything had to move quickly. We were asked to redecorate a one-bedroom flat in High Wycombe, annexed onto a shopping centre, with a new tenant due to move in within just two weeks. So it was a case of getting organised fast and making sure everything ran smoothly from day one.


The goal was simple: freshen the flat up and get it ready for its new tenant without compromising on quality — all within a tight timeframe.



The Brief

The client wanted the existing flooring removed and replaced with a close match to the existing flooring or at the very least, a light and fresh option throughout the passage and kitchen, as well as new carpet fitted in the bedroom. Once the quote was approved, we immediately set things in motion — sorting deliveries, scheduling the team and coordinating waste disposal.


From the moment the quote went out to full completion, the entire process took just two weeks. That included arranging materials, collecting them, ripping out the old flooring and fitting the new flooring and carpet.



Efficient Execution

The actual on-site work was completed in just two days, and everything ran like clockwork. Our team carried out:


  • Removal and disposal of the existing flooring

  • Installation of new updated flooring in the passage and kitchen

  • Replacement of the bedroom carpet

  • Finishing touches to ensure the flat was clean and presentable


We had the flooring and carpet fitted at the same time to keep things moving and avoid unnecessary delays. It was a smooth operation from start to finish.



Going the Extra Mile

While on site, we noticed the balcony was heavily soiled with stubborn pigeon droppings. Although this wasn’t included in the original scope of works, we decided to take care of it anyway. We like to hand properties back looking their best, and sometimes that means sorting the little extras without making a fuss.

As always, we got Chantelle our 'Queen of Clean' to follow up with a full deep pre-tenancy clean a few days before the tenant moved in, making sure the flat was fresh, hygienic and ready to go.


A Result That Delighted the Client

With such a quick and efficient turnaround, the client was really pleased with how the project came together. The new tenant moved in by the end of the month and the flat looked smart, clean and ready for everyday living.
